Geocache Description:


Okay, you’ve probably been here before — but it’s worth a return visit. This cache site was originally the home of “A Fading Star” (GC19ETG), released in March, 2008. During its tenure it resulted in 332 and was awarded 22 favourite points.

Originally placed by El Nimrod, it was later adopted by Rootie, and has recently been archived. It’s now being resurrected and re-released by the Bootecacher team.

The cache, less than 50m from the road with a bit of bushwhacking, is next to the “Morning Star”, an old boat. Enjoy the views!

While in the area, visit the aquarium and relax at Carr's Oyster Bar during the summer. Fresh oysters, great deck-side view of the water and Stanley Bridge, and local musicians regularly perform!
