Geocache Description:

Along the Lancaster Canal there are some SciFi caches.

I was completing some, had a spare container with me and thought I'd add one for my favourite "Star" series. There may be more to come. Cheyenne Mountain is where Stargate Command is based and many Stargate teams operate out of this top secret facility. They go through a wormhole deep below the mountain and visit other planets to make allied and defeat enemies. The main focus of the series is on a team designated SG1, consisting of Colonel Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson), Doctor Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks), Captain (then Major) Samantha Carter and the alien Jaffa, Teal'c. In Seasons 9 and 10 , O'Neill was replaced by Colonel Cameron Mitchell and, in Season 10, the were joined by Vala MalDoran.
