Camped close by with my family and fell in love with the views. My boys had a great time finding other geocach sites and had a great time locating them. Our cache site has some beautiful views of valley of the gods and monument valley. We sat and watched a few sunsets right on the rock where the cache is! Oops I say no more on location. The cache is in a plastic gray ammo can with drawings my son made of the valley, he’s 7. You might need to move a few thin pieces of sandstone. Be careful of potential snakes or scorpions even though we didn’t see any. The dirt road in would possibly be impassable in wet condition. A higher clearance vehicle is recommended. You could park right off of valley of the gods road and do a short hike the rest of the way. Inside the cache are some nick nacks and a log book.
