Join fellow geocachers for a normal, casual gathering --
then sit down and buckle up for the
2018 Geocaching International Film Festival
We will gather around 6:00 PM to talk about geocaching: swap adventure stories, stuck in the mud (and/or covered in mud), chatting with security guards and police and sheriffs and rangers; trade skills and secrets for this hi-tech game/sport/hobby; discuss the exact location of that pesty DNF, and so on and so on. Maybe even listen to someone talk about a recent three-week adventour of New England and Canada (they might even have a PowerPoint slideshow ready to show!)
At 7:00, the lights will dim so we can enjoy the finalists for the 2018 Geocaching International Film Festival. Will the films be funny (probably), educational (perhaps), submitted by geocachers from around the world (definitely), entertaining (of course), or a total waste of time (extremely doubtful!)? You'll just have to come watch the films with your new and "old" geocaching friends to find out. The "show" should last about an hour.
Everyone is invited to order off the menu or simply hit the fabulous buffet. No purchase is necessary to attend the event.
