Welcome to the Musical Cache Series! This one is for Manfred Mann’s Earth Band - “Blinded By the Light.” First recorded by Bruce Springsteen, it jumped to fame for Manfredd Mann as one of the most oft-confused lyric lines ever: “Blinded by the light, wrapped up like a DEUCE another runner in the night...” He actually had a speech impediment which kinda garbled the lyric in question...
