Train Ride at Iron Horse Park Traditional Cache
YYCDadPlus3NgBoys: I checked on this one after grabbing my morning coffee, and indeed it has gone missing. Rather than replace it, I think it’s time to archive this one and open up the space to something new! Thanks for all the finders and loggers over the years!

Train Ride at Iron Horse Park
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is meant to be accessible 24/7, year-round without the need to trespass, even though you might want to visit Iron Horse Park (especially if you have mini-cachers), which is only open on Sundays from the May long weekend until the Thanksgiving long weekend, sometimes later if the weather is nice. Admission is free (and riding the train, if you choose to, is relatively inexpensive), and this is a great place to have a picnic! Iron Horse Park is pretty neat for young and old, but my kids definitely enjoy it for riding on the trains (pulled by 1/8 scale steamies or diesels) that travel the 1.6 km of track on the 11.5 acre facility. The park is run by volunteers, who share their knowledge and passion for model and real trains! The gates to the parking lot are usually closed when the park isn't open, but there is plenty of street parking if you're looking to P&G. This is meant to be easy, and there is no need to trespass or climb fences or anything. The container is a small bison tube that is only big enough to hold a log sheet, so please bring your own writing instrument, and replace as found! Congrats to Knight Ryder for the FTF! Found within about 20 minutes of being published!
