A principis d’abril del 2018, els responsables de pintura de la brigada municipal s’encarregaven de decorar les parets del parc amb escenes de dones netejant en un riu, en homenatge a les dones que antigament rentaven la roba en aquest espai de Palafolls, i fa tot just un mes es coneixia que el parc tindria també escultures.
