A brown plastic bucket (stump like) full of kids toys and trinkets. A true treasure chest for little ones.
An easy 800m walk up a dirt road that goes through cotton wood forest beside the river, past a beaver dam and pond, and through dry sage brush meadows with greenery around spring water. Great views of the hills and interesting geology of the Tranquille River valley. Walk a little further past the cache to a former day use area, picnic shelter, and river access. Boots are sometimes a good idea depending on how active the beavers have been. The last 50 meters you are off the road and walking through sage brush. Watch out for prickly pear cactus!
The bucket lid twists off.
