The event will be held at Dunkin' Donuts from 6:30PM-8:00PM (or 1830-2000) on Saturday September 29. We will be gathering to talk Geocaching, trade trackables and share our experiences on the Souvenir Series You don't need to participate in the Souvenir series to attend, Sign the board & get the smiley.
On Labor Day September 3, Geocaching launches the Souvenir Series You might be a Geocacher if... The promotion ends on Monday October 1 at Noon UTC, which is about 7 hours ahead of PST. You can do it along or you can use a friend league.
Much like the past 3 sets of Souvenirs Peior to this one, you will be awarded points for certain finds. Some more than others, but each cache found between Noon Septenber 3 UTC and Noon October 1 UTC is worth at least 5 points.
I'm also a fairly new cacher to the area. I moved down to Long Beach on August 12. Maybe you could see me and I could Introduce myself. My original stomping grounds was up the coast in the San Luis Obispo area. Hope to meet some of the local cachers!
