Easy drive up cache off the 21.... This cache is dedicated to one of my favorite people.
My Grampa ~ Wallace McFaul ~ was a bus driver back in the day for Maple Creek. He and my Gramma lived in Piapot and he picked up rural kids in a tiny school bus and brought them to Sidney School. I often got to ride with him on his trips. His route picked up students from all the way to Cypress Hills Park SK and back to town. He always called the park, "the Bench". Because of my trips with him, I know that road like the back of my hand and the scenery along here is engrained in my memory. I have often felt him guiding me when conditions aren't so favorable driving on that road. He passed away in 1986, but I know he is with me when I come back to visit the place I love so much! I'll bet there are a lot of people who still live in the area who remember what a wonderful man he was, just like me! Enjoy the view here, and happy caching!
