Geocache Description:


“See what a nicer place this is when we all pitch in?”

Come get your 2018 fall CITO souvenir!  Just a simple gathering from 10:00am-12:00pm at the posted coordinates.  We will meet in the parking area for the Warrior Ridge Dam from 10:00am-10:30am for some chat and coordinating, then spend a little time gathering trash and cleaning up the area until around noon.  Note that this area also has public fishing and watercraft access (proper licenses required), in case you want to take advantage of that! The event will be held rain or shine – hope to see you there!

  • Please note that there are no restroom facilities nearby, so plan accordingly.
  • Be sure to park so as to allow others plenty of space.  There should be more than enough room to park, but carpooling (even from Petersburg) may be easier (and more eco-friendly!).
  • Garbage bags, light gloves, and other supplies will be provided.  A pair of heavier gloves (and/or trash stick) is suggested for better protection.
  • Water and small snacks will be offered by the event hosts.  Feel free to bring something to share, if you’d like!
  • There may be a few prizes or even a new cache in the area, so stay tuned!
