Remembrance......
On the 11/11/18 it shall be 100 years since the end of the Great War. I have took part in many a parade, standing at attention listening to the Last Post, and Flowers of the Forest, though for me, Remembrance is being up high, taking time to remember, beyond the parades, shinny shoes and medals. I shall be up here on the 10/11/18 at 1200 for 30 minutes.
Come along, have a chat, talk caching, talk other things, bring trackables, admire the views, celebrate what this part of Yorkshire can offer. The men who served and many who died , were on the most, just young men, who enjoyed laughing, living life. So you are free to share a glass of port to toast their memory, and their service to the sovereign. The event will last from 1200hrs to 1230hrs.
