Adam Wants To Be A BARK Ranger Traditional Cache

This geocache is placed with permission of Fairy Stone State Park.  It is one of the six original Virginia State Parks opening June 15, 1936.  With 4,741 acres and 160 acre lake adjoining the Philpott Resovoir, Fairy Stone State Park is a great location for swimming, fishing, hiking, picnics, camping and wildlife viewing.  Fairy Stone State Park is located at 967 Fairystone Lake Drive, Stuart, Virginia.  There is a fee for park entry.

Adam has always wanted to be a BARK Ranger, ever since he was just a little puppy.  As he grew, had more adventures traveling and hiking with his pet parents, the urge became even stronger and determined.  He learned what it meant to be a BARK Ranger and how important that all his friends learned about what being a BARK Ranger means, not only for himself, but to everyone else out visiting a Virginia State Park.

        Research where you might travel

K  -  Keep on the trail

        Know where you're allowed to go or not go

Adams says if everyone follows what it means to be a BARK Ranger, then everyone will have a great time, including those with four legs!  

Parking is at the Park Office.  Who knows, you might see Adam OR one of the great rangers or staff that works at Fairy Stone State Park.

You will be looking for a small clear lock-n-lock container with a small dog (no, it's a plastic toy...not real) afixed to the lid.  Please rehide as found and make sure it isn't visible.  Please BRING A PEN to sign log.
