After David Bowie's untimely death, Belgian astronomers concocted an asterism in his honor. Using stars from the constellations Virgo and Libra, in addition to other non-zodiac constellations, they formed a lightning bolt shape in the night sky, based on the one in Ziggy Stardust's make-up. The idea of using stars from the Zodiac was that it would be "near Mars," like Ziggy Stardust. You can't actually see this asterism, since at least one of the stars the Belgians chose is invisible to the naked eye! But you can view it at stardustforbowie.be. Or you can solve this simple jigsaw puzzle online to see the image! (And get the final coordinates for the cache!)
