Parable of Talents Traditional Cache

Matthew recorded several parables. (A parable is a story with a special message/meaning.)
One of those parables has been called the parable of talents. (A talent was a monetary unit worth about twenty years' wages for a laborer.)
When a businessman left town on a trip, he gave some talents to a few of his servants. To the first, he gave 5 talents; to the second, he gave 2 talent; and to the last, he gave 1 talent. When the man returned home, the servant with 5 talents had made 5 more; the man with 2 had made 2 more; but the the man who was given 1 talent, buried his money in the ground and did not make any profit at all. The first two men were rewarded and the third man received discipline.
