While out in search of a few cache in the area, I stumbled upon this short cut, which accroding to the old trail markers on it, must have been the original route of the ECT. The new route is much more scenic than this one. But what a perfect spot to place a cache!!
Surrounded by the CtB team's latest caching blitz this one is neatly tucked away for the main trail so you won't be spotted as easily.
Pick you're approach wisely so that you don't poke yoursellf with one of the many dead tree limbs that are in the way. I didn't break a single branch on my approach to place this hide.
Cache is a Mayo jar covered in camo tape, hanging around. You probably won't spot it from the trail but it should be an easy find once you get close.
At the time of placement I put a TB in the cache that needs to get moving along.
