This Cache is hidden in Naustaborgir, wich is a part of Iceland's most visited forest Kjarnaskogur. The recreational area is approx 600ha with more than 1 million trees of many species planted within the last 50 years. The area has7 km lighted trail in addition to a vast network of backcountry trails. Also there is a 10km long designatedmountain bike trail. Naustaborgir is famous outdoor activity area, during summer it's walking, running, hiking and birdwatching and during winter it's mostly crosscountry skiing. To reach the Cache you have to walk about 15-20 minutes through the forrest and ending up in a place with a fantastic view over the Fjord! The hiking is not difficult and for everyone who wants to enjoy the Icelandic nature and scenery.
