This cache is one of a series placed to honour my Geodogs.
This is the 1st in the series and is placed for Scamp.

Scamp was an Australian Cattle Dog,
a Blue Heeler.
He loved to walk and play with a ball. Once he got hold of a ball you couldn't get it away from him! We often came to this oval and he would jump down into the creek to cool off after hours of ball chasing. We trained him to be a companion dog after my mother had a serious stroke. He would sit with her for hours.
He was a fantastic dog!!!
The creek used to be much bigger but over the years it has silted up, as you can see.
The area is very tidal and at low tide is a mud flat frequented by wading birds. It is dredged every few years to maintain the tidal flow. The creek near the cache also fills with water at high tide and after heavy rain so you may get wet feet.
