Hobbit House Cache “Remember it was a Hobbit so very small who did BIG things & saved them all.” Located at Spokane’s one & only Hobbit House, “Spokane End”, where Spokane ends & imagination begins. It’s just a few minutes west of downtown Spokane where 2nd Ave dead ends. Take a moment to complete the Hobbit House Scavenger Hunt, take/exchange a book at the Little Free Hobbit Library, & sign the guest book. You also might hear quotes & songs from the famous films playing. If you look through the Hobbit House window you may see our resident Hobbit smiling at you from inside. Where is the cache? From the novel, The Hobbit, look for the symbol that Gandalf carved on Bilbo’s door at Bag End to identify which home the dwarves should gather at. Please do not go through the gate. Once you’ve found the symbol, you're very near the cache. Bring a small trinket such as a coin to trade. Please assure everything is back as you found it afterwards. Now “fly you fools!” there’s treasure & secrets to be found. You can check out and follow the Spokane Hobbit House on FB ahead of time to assure there's no disruptions to the cache. And if you haven’t read J.R.R. Tolkien, we highly encourage you to do so!
