This is one of a series of increasingly tenuous, easy caches celebrating Rickmansworth's musical connections.
John Paul Jones, bass player with Led Zeppelin, lived in the house called Straw Hat (but doesn't live there any more).
It's on the Loudwater Estate, which is private. You can get in on foot and by bike (not sure about car), and it's a lovely place to look around - stunning houses (if you're not the jealous type, or already have a massive pile I suppose), and very short, steep hills, so it's a workout. JPJ's old house, and some others, have beautiful thatched roofs. ANYWAY, I've placed the cache outside the estate, for the Avoidance of Shenanigans.
Plastic tube - you will need a pen. I think you can park a street or two away, but not very close to the cache.
