The lake lies in beautiful surroundings in Kynndalen in Åsnes.
The western part of the lake is located within the Kynndalsmyrene nature reserve, the cache is located outside the nature reserve.

There is a toll to pay on the roads in the area.

Sjøen ligger i flotte omgivelser i Kynndalen i Åsnes.
Den vestlige delen av sjøen ligger innenfor Kynndalsmyrene naturreservat, cachen er plassert utenfor naturreservatet.
