Though located a a fairly busy intersection, this cemetery is so large one seems miles away from the traffic. This is one of the early Texas cemeteries with no barrier fences and a few small driveways the meander through the tombstones. There are bits of decorative fences perserved for historical reasons and large trees. While searching for the cache, take a moment to ponder the depth of history contained in this out of the way place.
Parking can be found either on the small drives or at a small inlet by the historical marker.
