I tried hiding a cache at Tom Tom Overlook. But that was on NJ DEP land. On the way back from retrieving the container, on the Green Trail, I found a spot to hide the cache. The Green Trail is the old Winnebago Road. It connects the Yellow Trail with the Four Birds Trail. You can continue the hike to Tom Tom Overlook!
This is in the Newark Watershed, and a hiking permit is required. It can be obtained at their office at 223 Echo Lake Rd, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.
