It sure did and it pretty much went through this golf course, that you see near here. It was a short branch that was opened around 1870. It connected to a main line at the old Turners Falls Junction. The name of the railroad at the time was called The Vermont and Massachusetts Railroad. History is just amazing. As you look into the woods, you can see the formation of the railroad. Might not be easy, but it is there.
