- Parking Directions: The owners of Edgewater Caravan Park have generously given permission for us to park in their field; you will see the field gate open on the left when you go down the entrance road; please drive & park considerately.
There is a small beach area that is more suitable for children and anyone with mobility difficulties.
The beach & clean-up area are close to the road and care should be taken that children / dogs don't stray!
- The caravan park is private and must not be entered as their insurance does not cover visitors.
- There are no toilets or food outlets nearby; the nearest would be Ardglass or Downpatrick.
- Well behaved dogs are welcome but please be prepared to put them on a lead if requested.
Litter pickers & bags etc will be provided on the day. Please bring gloves if you have them.
We can't guarantee the weather but you can be sure of a cuppa, biccie cake and a bit of craic after the clean-up. A few travel bugs & geocoins may even emerge to be discovered or grabbed! If you wish really hard the cache fairy may wave her magic wand and a new cache may appear on the day…so be extra good!
The local council will take all the rubbish away from a designated collection point.
