O Kruszwicy:
Wiele nazw miejscowych na kujawskiej ziemi pochodzi od soli lub jej handlowej postaci-walcowatej bryłki, zwanej kruszą. Do tej grupy nazw zalicza się także Kruszwica. Z racji tego, że krusze drogiej niegdyś soli były symbolem bogactwa sama już nazwa miasta - Kruszwica zapewne odzwierciedlała bogactwo i znaczenie grodu.
W XV w. kiedy to włodarze Kruszwicy wybierali herb miasta, kujawskie solarstwo upadło na rzecz żup krakowskich. Być może właśnie, dlatego na tarczy herbowej umieszczono bardziej przystający do tych czasów staropolski symbol bogactwa - drzewo gruszy.
O miejscu:
Według miejscowej legendy, w czasach gdy jezioro stanowiło część Gopła, nad jego brzegiem mieszkał rybak Tryszcz z żoną Malwiną. Wiedli spokojny żywot, bez waśni i swarów. Pewnego razu Tryszcz podczas połowu spotkał niezwykłą postać – Białą Damę, która poprosiła go o wybudowanie świątyni na wyspie, na środku jeziora. Rybak spełnił prośbę, choć budowa trwała bardzo długo. Miejscowi mieszkańcy z czcią i szacunkiem odnosili się do tego miejsca, ale znalazł się wśród nich grzesznik Szymon-Tomasz, który zbezcześcił święte miejsce, za co spotkała go kara – wraz z budowlą zapadł się pod wodę. Podobno świątynia ma znowu pojawić się na powierzchni, gdy tylko ludzie będą żyli tak zgodnie, jak w czasach Tryszcza i Malwiny.
W czasach dzieciństwa nie słyszałem o tej legendzie, zapoznałem się z nią dopiero podczas przygotowywania listingu tej skrytki. Natomiast w Kruszwicy krążyła plotka, że na dnie jeziora znajduje się radziecki czołg T-34/85, który podczas ofensywy wojsk radzieckich w 1945 zgubił się i wjechał na pokrywę lodową, a ta pod ciężarem czołgu załamała się i jezioro pochłoneło stalowego potfora. Jako dzieciaki, wyposażeni tylko w maski i rurki do nurkowania, próbowaliśmy ów czołg odszukać, gdyż 20-30 lat temu jezioro było najczystszym kąpieliskiem w Kruszwicy. Dojazd był nieco gorszy niż obecnie, teraz jest asfalt, a wcześniej była biała szutrowa droga, która strasznie się kurzyła. Niestety lub stety jezioro nie jest już uczęszczane przez plażowiczów, stanowi natomiast dogodną bazę wędkarską.

About Kruszwica:
Many of local names of places stem from salt or its commercial form, which looks like a cylindrical lump, called ‘krusza’ in Polish. Kruszwica belongs to this group of names. On account of the fact that ores of salt used to be very expensive and became symbols of wealth, the name Kruszwica surely reflected the prosperity and significance of the town.
In the 15th century, when the rulers of Kruszwica were choosing the coat of arms of the town, the Cuiavian salt mining collapsed on the benefit of żupy krakowskie, the Royal Salt Mines in Wieliczka and Bochnia. For that reason, a pear tree, which was another Old Polish symbol of wealth, was placed on the shield of the coat of arms.
About the place:
According to a local legend, at the time when the lake was part of Gopło, a fisherman, Tryszcz, lived with his wife, Malwinka. They have a quiet life, no feuds and no swars. Once upon a time Trydo caught a remarkable figure during the fishing - White Lady who asked him to build a temple on the island in the middle of the lake. The fisherman fulfilled the request, although the construction took a very long time. The local residents paid respect and respect to this place, but among them was the sinner Szymon-Tomasz, who profaned the holy place, for which he was punished - along with the building he fell under water. Apparently, the temple is to appear again on the surface, as soon as people live as consistent as in the times of Tryszcza and Malwina.
During my childhood, I did not hear about this legend, I only read it during the preparation of the list of this cache. Whereas in Kruszwica there was a rumor that at the bottom of the lake there is a Soviet tank T-34/85, which during the Soviet offensive in 1945 got lost and entered the ice cover, and this under the weight of the tank broke down and the lake absorbed a steel potfora. As kids, equipped only with masks and diving tubes, we tried to find this tank, because 20-30 years ago the lake was the cleanest bathing resort in Kruszwica. The journey was slightly worse than it is now, now there is asphalt, and previously there was a white gravel road, which was very dusty. Unfortunately, or stety lake is no longer frequented by sunbathers, but it is a convenient fishing base.

Über Kruszwica:
Viele Ortsnamen auf dem kujawischen Boden kommen vom Salz oder von seiner Handelsform –walzenförmigem Salzblock „krusza“ genannt. Von diesem Begriff wurde der Name der Stadt auch abgeleitet. Die Salzblöcke waren einmal sehr teuer und wurden zum Symbol vom Reichtum. Der Name der Stadt wiederspiegelte sicherlich die Bedeutung der Burg Kruszwica.
Als im XV. Jh. die Herrscher von Kruszwica über das Stadtwappen entschieden, brich kujawische Salzindustrie zugunsten Krakauer Salzsiederei zusammen. Vielleicht deshalb erschien das altpolnische Symbol vom Reichtum - der Birnbaum auf dem Wappenschild, weil es zu damaligen Zeiten passend war.
Ortsbeschreibung :
Nach der lokalen Legende, zu einem Zeitpunkt, wenn der See war Teil Gopło, direkt am Meer Fischer Tryszcz Malvina mit seiner Frau lebte. Sie leben ein ruhiges Leben, ohne Streit und Zank. Einmal traf Tryszcz wenn ungewöhnliche Form Fischerei - die Weiße Dame, die ihn gebeten, einen Tempel auf der Insel zu bauen, in der Mitte des Sees.
