This location marks the West Boise Monument to the Old Oregon Trail. Many pioneers passed this site with diaries noting the Oregon Trail's route through here. Ezra Meeker, an early emigrant, stashed his fortune nearby in a hidden cache.
To find Ezra's cache, look for a big box of staples (behind you). Start your walk towards the bike rack. You'll notice evergreen trees along a wall. Count 4 evergreens from the corner. Between the 4th and 5th evergreen is a large trellis. The cache clings to the trellis. May future emigrants find their Treasure in this Valley!
