This location marks the West Boise Monument to the Old Oregon Trail. Many pioneers passed this site with diaries noting the Oregon Trail's route through here. Ezra Meeker, an early emigrant, stashed his fortune nearby in a hidden cache.
To find Ezra's cache, look for a big box of staples (behind you). Start your walk towards the bike rack. You'll notice three red awnings above three windows along the side of the building. Just beyond those three windows is a trellis in the same red color. The cache clings to the trellis. May future emigrants find their Treasure in this Valley!
