Another cache located on Burke Mountain. The amount of trails on this mountain are seemingly endless, leading to little gems like the location of this hide. What you will find is a simple lock&lock in a typical forest location, but the gem is in the location. You can probably swim here in the summer, but even when I hid this cache, the water was unbearably freezing.
Inside the cache is a knock-off plastic bison tube, it containes the logbook. This is not a trading item, please keep it in the cache. I was doubtful of how waterproof the main container would be, so I decided to go the peace-of-mind route, and put some extra protection around the log.
This is bear country, so please be advised that Yogi and Boo Boo might be watching. This is a mountain cache, so please pack what you need for the hike, like good hiking boots, food and water, a flashlight, and a good shell jacket, oh and I recommend clothing too. [:D]
