Geocache Description:

2018 Wisconsin Geocaching Association Fall Picnic

The cache was placed for the 2018 WGA Fall Picnic.

"Kick the Bucket" -- The actual origin of the term is from England, and began in the later middle ages. A corpse would be laid out, and a bucket of holy water placed at its feet. Visitors could then sprinkle the deceased with Holy Water. Other explanations (suicide, execution) came later to explain an idiom, of which the origin of the term had ceased, mainly as a result of the English reformation.

Yeah a little morbid but fits the cache hide and could not come up with anything else :)

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Devils Lake Office of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form
