Geocache Description:

An event to look at some of geocaching's greatest mysteries or at least those puzzle caches which bug us. When we see each other at events we often chat about puzzle caches that we are working on.

This event is for anyone interested in geocache puzzles whether you are an expert, cache owner of those that perplex or you're curious as to how to start with puzzles. If you've always wondered what those ? icons were all about then come along and join us. There are plenty for a range of difficulties in the area to get stuck into.

Anyone can attend this event although it is intended for people interested in puzzles. We will be talking mostly about puzzles! If you want to solve puzzles but don’t know how, please come along as this event will be welcoming and aimed at any level of puzzle solving ability. We will be aiming to learn from each other. If there is a particular puzzle you are stuck on, please bring along the information or let me know beforehand and I will print off the cache page.

Where :- Pollok Community Centre, Langton Road, Glasgow, G53 5DP

When :- 1800-2000, Wednesday 17th October 2018

In this second class we will be exploring the following topic:

  • Codes and Ciphers

There is WIFI so bring your Tablet, laptop, or whatever you need to help and don’t forget your pen, pencil and notebook.

This isn't about other cachers just giving you the answers!

Please feel free to pick the brains of any puzzle COs who come along (or indeed anyone who's ever solved a puzzle!) for tips and tricks to help you get started.

This is an opportunity to gain some experience in solving lots of Puzzles, so that you can go on to tackle others with the techniques you might have picked up.

Make notes and share ideas - what might seem impossible for one person can spark an idea in someone else and often a group effort can produce results.
