Parking is for public access to this nice pond. The path to Pleasant Pond is obvious...but look for it instead of going down the driveway to the private cabin.
The container is high enough to be above water in the spring flood season...please do not attempt to reach it at that time of year! An it is located about 40 feet off of the trail. When I first hung it, it was too easy to see from the trail. A small adjustment made is less likely that a muggle would find it. Please consider this when you replace it.
I took out a bag of trash that was left behind. There does seem to be a bit of flotsam and jetsam so bringing a small bag and doing a bit of CITO work would be nice. Enjoy the beautiful view of Pleasant Mountain over Pleasant Pond.
