The most passable Chikushino IC on the Kyushu Expressway is located between Tosu Jct, and is larger than SA in the highway Pa. Since 2007, most of the high-speed buses in Kyushu that have passed through our PA have stopped at the bus stop here and are also in transit for high-speed buses. Although the parking lot was as small as the other PA at the time of opening, it was rebuilt and became the current size. It is also famous that the first convenience store is installed on the Kyushu Expressway. I was allowed to set the GC to be able to enjoy between the drive break.There is a GC on the down route, so please enjoy it further.
九州自動車道で最も通行台数が多い区間である筑紫野IC - 鳥栖JCT間に位置し、同自動車道のPAの中では最も規模が大きく、SA並かそれ以上という異例のPAです。2007年から当PAを通過している九州内の高速バスの大半が併設のバス停（基山バスストップ）に停車するようになり、高速バスの乗り継ぎ拠点にもなっています。。開通当初は他のPA同様に駐車場が少ない小規模でしたが、改築され現在の大きさになりました。九州自動車道では初のコンビニエンスストアが設置されことも有名です。
