V domu so bili trgovina, gostilna in društveni prostori.
In 1903, workers under the leadership of Joseph Rinalda set up their own consume, which was installed in the Šuntajs house in the lower part of Petelinova vas. They soon had to close it because Rinaldo could not pay two wagons of flour. Ignac Sitter took his place for him, he collected the necessary money among the convicts, placed him in court, and thereby reached the point that the consume could be opened again. After this event, workers decided to build their own Workers' Home. The first monetary base for him was the sum of 5000 crowns held by the conservator in the savings bank. From Peter Grobler, in 1909, they purchased a building plot that once belonged to Pavšar's farm. In the land register, the parcel was entered into the names: Ignacij Sitter, Franc Gradišek, Andrej Bravec and Janez Jeretin. The estate was rewritten in 1914 at the address of the Building and Catering Cooperative Delavski dom. The building was built in 1910. In the house there were shops, inns and social spaces. In 10 years, he was added to the Hall for events. In 1954, the old building collapsed because it was built by a new Workers' Home, whose opening was on 29 November 1956. Apart from the old Delavski Dom, Povšet's restaurant and Zdolšek house also had to be withdrawn. Since the building was built in front of television times, there is a lot of space on the stage, in the backyard, in both large halls, in the lecture room and in the censer, in the basement, in the basement and auxiliary rooms, and in the lobby only in front of the building her. In the upper lobby, there are five hundred fun people eager to go. A modern cinema has 356 seats. The main theater hall is 434 seats. The facade of the building, which is first bent down from the entrance to the left, then stumbles repeatedly, is adorned by the magnificent mosaic Marija Preglja, which, due to the architecture of the building, is also divided into four parts. Wall decorations made of colored stones show the artist's thinking about war and peace. In 1958, for the mosaic, the author received the Prešeren Prize. By the decree of 1996 the municipality declared it a cultural monument. The dominant architecture with an exterior functional space is thus integrated in the style of modern architecture in the 1950s. (O. Gaspari, M. Zupančič). In front of the building there are plastics miners of sculptor S. Batič from 1956, built in 1974, at the foot of the staircase at the foot of the Radav dom. The hero of the underworld, which is recognized by attributes (helmet, lamp, compressor), stands firmly up to the shallow base. They are tested in an endless struggle with nature, they have a roughly modeled and powerful body volume, which is superimposed on the surface by relief graphic motifs.
