Time for a new cache on AI. This one is placed to highlight a point of history on Anderson Island.
From 1889-1893 the AI Brickworks was in business employing up to 24 workers including an Engvall. This was one of many brickyards that sprung up after the great fire in Seattle back in 1889. Then sadly the Anderson Island's brickyard folded in the wake of the world-wide panic and depression of 1893. The trail is well maintained but still watch out for poison oak and stinging nettles along the trail. Especially with the little ones.
