Coffee is a brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans, the seeds of berries from certain Coffea species. It is darkly coloured, bitter, and slightly acidic and has a stimulating effect in humans, primarily due to its caffeine content. It is one of the most popular drinks in the world.
Brazil produces about 30 percent of the world’s coffee supply, making Brazil by far the world's largest producer, a position the country has held for the last 150 years.
