A poor show really, not a great advert for our Geocaching efforts. Of all the events that at the time had been held on the Isle of Man, at the end of the day we had come up short and contributed nothing. All to play for then.
We got off the mark with a rather a grand affair (even if we say so ourselves) as we laid down a marker for two Canada Premier cachers (Cbushgirl and crystalwoods) - Cashtal Rosien (GC628WB).
Life might not be the same again. It was squeaky bum time as we stood at the castle entrance hoping a crowd of people would turn up, there was so much at stake. But cachers turned out in numbers and thanks to Manx National Heritage, we were pretty much given free reign of the castle for the hour and a half of the event and afterwards.
So, first to find is there for the taking with this new cache, and for someone to make a name for themselves. Geocaching analysts may want to ponder this then .....
