The cache is hidden in Rowley Natural Linear Park, which is a "rails to trails" project built along the former CN rail line. Depending on where you parked, you will be walking 700m one-way to get to the cache.

Geocaching has taken me many places and allowed me to meet many people, some of whom have become very dear friends. This cache is a tribute to the places and friends Geocaching has introduced me to.
One of my very first visits to Rowley happened because of Geocaching. It was October of 2006 when I found the old cache called Sam's Pizza. However, it wasn't until May of 2010 when I discovered the wonders of Rowley's Pizza Night (last Saturday of every month) during Canadian Badlands Cache and Release 1.
As for my caching friends? Well, at my very first caching event I met BearGPS and ladylitefoot. Since then we've been fortunate enough to add cacher_lou and Scraphappyj to the mix. Together we have cached, canoed/kayaked, and camped. Making memories every time we get together.
This cache container was given to me by cacher_lou and I promised I would hide it somewhere special. Well, it may not be a mountain top or far out in the woods, but I think Rowley is a pretty special place and it deserves to have another cache hidden near it.
