Placed with kind permission from Wollaton Hall.
Wollaton Hall is, in my opinion, one of Nottinghams most glorious locations. One of the best things about it are the magnificent deer that roam around the parkland.
It's amazing to think just how many trees are there in the World? According to a recent study in 2018 the answer is over 3.04 trillion trees!!!! That's about 422 trees for each person on the planet! To compare this to the UK only, There are around three billion trees in the UK, or around 47 for every Briton! Fascinating!
This cache is the 19th in 30 placed around the grounds, they are made up of some simple, but varying containers. There are a handful of others caches in the area, Including a Virtual at Wollaton Hall itself!
Please keep dogs on leashes and under control, especially around the deer that roam around and please do not cross over into any fenced off conservation areas, all of these caches are located on or just off footpaths.
For full details of opening hours and parking charges go to Wollaton Hall's website.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE TIMES THE GATES ARE LOCKED - These are clearly marked all around entrances/car park with clocks that display the times of gate closure.
Please note there is a parking fee of £3 for up to 2 hours/ £5 for all day but there are parking spot outside the grounds just avoid parking permit areas
