Il torrente Marano è un corpo idrico minore che attraversa i comuni di Montescudo, Coriano, Rimini, Riccione e qui sfocia a nord-est dell’abitato; si origina nella regione Marche presso il Monte Ghelfa e la lunghezza dell’asta principale è di 27 km. Il bacino idrologico ad esso associato ha una superficie di 60,4 km2 e i suoi confini sono definiti in sinistra idraulica dal fiume Marecchia e Ausa e in destra idraulica dal fiume Conca e Melo.

The Marano torrent is a minor water body that crosses the municipalities of Montescudo, Coriano, Rimini, Riccione and here flows to the north-east of the town; it originates in the Marche region near Mount Ghelfa and the length of the main shaft is 27 km. The associated hydrological basin has an area of 60.4 km2 and its boundaries are defined in the hydraulic left by the river Marecchia and Ausa and in the hydraulic right by the river Conca and Melo.
