This is Number two in a series named for the grandchildren who made the containers: Natalee and Chase. They specifically asked me to hide them somewhere cool. So here's why I hid them on this road. First, my folks used to live on Steppe Lane. All my kids gardened with this lovely view to watch over them, and the fresh air and hard work creating amazing men and women out of them, and I wish that for all geocaching kids (especially all my grandkids!). For a long time, I've lamented the addiction children nowadays have for the tiny screens in front of them constantly from nearly day one of their precious lives. But what can be done? Combine screen time with outdoor time. Give them a taste of both. Neither thing is evil, and both can be rewarding, and educational. Love this time with the kids--love, love love it!
So where is the cache? Not telling, but be careful and aware of barbed wire, deep holes near posts, and thorns. Be careful to look for bees. Park as close as you can, and you can pull in here. Supervise the kiddos.
