Geocache Description:

The Westerham Flyer was the nickname given to a steam passenger train which operated between Westerham and Dunton Green on the Westerham branch line until the early 1960s.  The sarcastic nickname derives from the fact that the locomotive was, in fact notoriously slow.

The GZ is in the area where the old station stood with sidings and a small goods yard with sheds.  Some of the original single storey good sheds still exist and they can be seen near the GZ painted black with slate roofs.  The site now houses a small business park and larger industrial units.  There are now only a couple of remnants of the old station, and one of those is where you will find this geocache.

This is a very high muggle area during weekdays due to the business units, so please be discreet when retrieving/replacing the cache.  The best times to visit would be evenings or weekends.  The cache is unusual but is really easy to find.  Wheelchair users can get near to the cache but again, may need help retrieving it.  This cache used to be known as "The Flyer's Drinking Hole" but has recent been renamed and moved 150 feet from its original location due to it being quite exposed and going missing a number of times. PLEASE ENSURE YOU BRING A PEN FOR THE LOG.  Good luck!
