On August 29, 2018 – Leachville, Arkansas was named as the city of the day for the passing of Robin Leach. Robin was an English entertainment reporter and writer from London. He was best known as the host of the Tv show “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”. He was 76 years old.
As karenb52 and I traveled and cached around the country over the past two years, we tuned into a morning radio show where the DJ played 60’s music and hosted a daily game that he called “City of the Day”. He has his listeners try to guess what city or place he was thinking of within the U.S. and occasionally from around the world. He gives a few clues to help you with your guess such as highways and landmarks that were located nearby the city. His city/place of the day is usually tied in with current events or incidents that were marking an anniversary on that day. I used those cities/places to name the caches that I placed along Forest Road 33 in the Ocala National Forest. I hope you have as much fun finding these caches as we did as we traveled around the country and listened to some great music from the past.
