Geocache Description:

This cache will show you the remains of what happened to the Autobot friend mentioned in: 'Autobot #22 - GC7XRPY'. Unfortunately only parts of him remain, as the majority of his body was likely eaten by the Decepticon beasts of the forest.

During the battle, he lost his Energon cube, which you must find and sign.

To find the location of the lost Energon cube (container), you must navigate to the following coordinates (after solving the riddles):

N 45° 29.1(A-E+2)(B-F+2)' W 76° 04.9(C-G-2)(D-1)'
Note: The brackets do NOT mean multiplication, each bracket resolves to a single digit. Meaning there will be 3 digits for the North and 3 for the West.

[RESEARCH PUZZLE]

A = The digital root of the name of the unit or faction that Brawl (who turns into a Tank) is a member of. This is a unit of fierce Decepticon soldiers. (Hint: Starts with a 'C', ends in an 's' and has 11 letters)

B = The digital root of the name of the leader of this faction. (Hint: Starts with an O and has 9 letters)

C =The leader mentioned in 'B', Brawl, Vortex, Swindle and Blast Off all can combine to form a giant and nearly unstopable robot. Let 'C' be the digital root of his name. (Hint: Starts with a B and has 8 letters)

[FIELD PUZZLE]

Now you must navigate to the coordinates listed below (virtual stages) and observe your surroundings. What you will find there will be associated with a number that you will need in order to find the lost Energon cube. The "corresponding number" and coordinates to visit are listed below. Note: There's no reason to assume you can't find the same type of 'object' at different locations...

The corresponding number for each "object" that is found at the stages:
  • 1 = Remains of a small Autobot hideout that was completely leveled by the Decepticon Bonecrusher (is now cement/wood/metal/debris)
  • 2 = Transformer mobility devices
  • 3 = The hood of the deceased Autobot
  • 4 = A ventilation pipe leading to a hidden underground Autobot base (capped by the evil Decepticons)
  • 5 = A large roll of metal Autobot perimeter defense material
  • 6 = A fridge used to keep liquid Energon cold
Destinations to "Observe" at:
  • D = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 28.980' W 76° 4.793' (corresponds to Stage 1)
  • E = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 29.001' W 76° 4.815' (corresponds to Stage 2 - just a few meters off the main trail)
  • F = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 29.052' W 76° 4.895' (corresponds to Stage 3)
  • G = Number of 'thing' found at: N 45° 29.125' W 76° 4.959' (corresponds to Stage 4)

Be sure to private message me if you know of any other undiscovered Autobot burial grounds (old cars/trucks/motorcycles/skidoos or random scraps of metal) in, or near, Ottawa ;) - and don't forget to 'favorite' these if you are enjoying the series.
