In memory of James (Canterbury) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hinemoana: Memory of James archived. I rocked up with a replacement this morning and noticed that the tree is in a much poorer shape than at placement. When the cache was placed, the tree was very thick and I had no difficulty finding a hiding spot. Now the inner part is like a highway, no doubt with my contribution of inviting people to rummage. Additionally, I had a better look and noticed my erroneous ways in naming the cache. Therefore, I am giving the tree a break and opening up the area for new placements.

Geocache Description:

A cache in Rangiora St John's Anglican Cemetery

In spite of being a geocacher and taking my GPS everywhere, I get lost easily. When I moved to Rangiora in July 2017, there was a cache in the cemetery that I could not locate. However, it provided me with a useful waypoint to navigate to when I wanted to get home from anywhere!

You can access the cemetery from either Ashley Street or Edward Street. You are looking for an 800mL black cylindrical container. Be respectful of those resting and gentle with the vegetation when searching - squeeze in through the obvious opening, and reach to the low right. No need to move any branches.

There is a small gift for the FTF.
