
Puerto Calero is a town in the municipality of Yaiza on the Spanish island of Lanzarote. The village has 301 inhabitants (2007).
The settlement Puerto Calero consists of a luxury marina and exclusive villas and apartments, designed by Luis Ibañez. The place is named after the inventor José Calero, who in 1983 had the idea to build a luxury resort. The construction started in 1986 and in 1989 it was opened.
