Vanha suppa Taajoslaavu-Vellinsärpimä -polun varrella. Suppa on kuoppa, joka on muodostunut jääkauden aikana, kun iso jäälohkare jäi maan alle ja suli sen jäkeen. Ajan myötä kuoppa on peittynyt maa-aineksella. Kätkö on pieni muovinen putkilo puussa.
"Suppa" is a kettle hole, where a big block of ice was buried under ground during the Ice Age and afterwards the ice melted. Over time the hole has been filled by debris. The cache is a small plastic tube in a tree.
UK-puiston maastopyöräilyreiteistä on julkaistu Metsähallituksen kartta kesäkuussa 2018. Kansallispuistossa maastopyöräily on sallittu vain maastoon merkityillä reiteillä. Kiilopää-Luulampi-Taajoslaavu-Vellinsärpimä-Saariselkä on 26 km pitkä ja vaativa maastopyöräilyreitti ”Taajoslaavunpolku”. Ympyrälenkkinä matkaa kertyy noin 38 km riippuen siitä, mitä reittiä haluaa ajaa Kiilopää-Saariselkä välin. Kesällä reitin voi kiertää myös kävellen ja talvella, olosuhteista ja välineistä riippuen, hiihtäen. Muistathan varautua retkelle huolella, ottaa evästä ja juotavaa mukaan ja varaudu myös siihen, että kännykkäkuuluvuus loppuu monissa osissa reittiä.

This cache is along a challenging, 26 km long mountain biking route “Taajoslaavunpolku trail”. In June 2018 a mountain biking guide was published. Please note that mountain biking within the national park is only permitted on marked trails. Remember to prepare well for your trip. Take enough food and water with you. Notice that in many parts of the trail there is no mobile phone signal. Higher points offer better reception than valleys.
The cache is within Urho Kekkonen national park and you should take notice of the rules of the park. For example, open fires and camping are only allowed at parts of the park and in designated areas only. More information can be found at www.nationalparks.fi
