The village of Dawesley was surveyed prioor to 1860 for workers at a copper refinery in a bend of the creek, just north of the Princes Highway. Several original cottages were used by employees of the Davies Bacon Factory. In the middle of the village is the former Dawesley Post Office.
The cache is located a few kilometres out of Dawesley off the Harrogate road.
Please beware of the industrial trucks going through this road.
The cache is not hard to find, you are looking for a small plastic container
you may also find you're being watched, enjoy the scenic location.
