Geocache Description:

This cache is one of a series placed to honour my Geodogs.

This is the 2nd in the series and is placed for Scruffy.

Scruffy was a long-haired Jack Russell Terrier.

Scruffy was my original Geodog.

We used to walk all over Sydney. I wear a pedometer to check the distance and walked as far as London!

We found our first geocache by accident on one of our walks and from then on we were hooked! We did all our caching together. He was very patient while I hunted things out and helped to sniff out caches too.

This walk in the Berowra Creek bushland was our favourite bushwalk but there are many tracks. There are lots of native wildflowers in spring and plenty of native birds. We even saw an echidna one day!

Over the years we watched many broods of ducklings develop from hatchlings to adulthood in this pond. Four different species breed in the pond. If you come in spring you might see some too.

The continuation of the walking track across Boundary Road is one of the access points to the Great North Walk.
