This trail is dedicated to an amazing group of cachers who are from or have visited the NT and hidden or found a lot of caches here. It is located along the Arnhem Highway. The idea for this series comes from “The Wandering Heroes” in SA so if you have found or hidden plenty in the NT feel free to hide a cache in your name or hide a cache on behalf of another cacher who has done this along with a short blurb about that cacher. It would be great to see this trail reach Jabiru.
I was introduced to caching by my friend corunnaroad and joined up in July 2010 as Doodle Bug Oz. It didn’t take long to become addicted and soon all the local caches had turned into smilies! Travelling Australia in 2016 enabled me to achieve many caching goals - like finding many of the still active first caches in mainland Australia, fill in my Geocaching calendar, improve my longest caching streak, attend many events and reach the 5000th milestone. Geocaching has taken me to so many amazing places. There are over 60 DBOz caches to find in the Darwin region.
